Saturday afternoon the fearless explorer duo of The Winksyes set off on an adventure. It began, as other adventures have, at Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens in Kaneohe, HI. The duo packed a lunch, grabbed a camera, and were off to seek their fortune in the wilderness. Wary at first, the intrepid pair soon saw sure signs that an adventure was at hand.

| Starting down the path. That tree bending over the road is a sure sign that adventure is upon us. The trees are always bendy in adventures. |
| "A" for Adventure! |
| A fork in the road. The first of many such choices that faced our wanderers |
| A narrow woodsy path... |
| ...slowly yielding to a wide open field... |
| ...with a stunning view. An adventure staple (watch the Lord of the Rings movies) |
| Shooting down our foes |
| These ducks assisted the explorers at the next fork in the road. I just love helpful woodland creatures. |
| "If this weren't only 6 inches deep I'd push you in." -Joe |
| The woods begin to close in. They always do. |
| Suddenly our heroine is trapped by the overgrowth! (Don't worry, I escape) |
| Yet another fork in the road |
| A troll bridge! We must cross before the goats get here |
| And though the path is blocked, the thrill seekers go on, undaunted |
| Their quest is rewarded with this lush fairyland (and a couple of pears, some cheese and a handful of crackers) |
