Christmas Recap Part 1

We had a lovely Christmas this year, started off with opening stockings with Shawn and Kris at 1am (Lulu was high as a kite on some catnip toys that her Auntie Kris and Uncle Shawn slipped into her stocking...). Joe and I exchanged gifts and (surprise, surprise) had gotten each other the video games we'd been drooling over recently:

And  Shawn and Kris split the cost of a Kinect with us as our gift to each other. What can I say? We're a video game family!

We began the morning of Christmas day with lovely Skype chats with Grammy and Dad, and then off to pick up Auntie Gladys and on to the North Shore.

We opened some gifts and received beautiful homemade stockings from Mom's friend Mary. Look how beautiful:

We got a variety of other wonderful gifts as well, then on to the entertainment of the day: ping pong, Ikebana, and the impromptu talent show...more on that next time.
